The City of Stirling commissioned us to document the story behind the Yarning Circle which now sits proudly at the front of the City of Stirling Administration Centre. The artwork features renowned Nyoongar artists; Peter Farmer Snr, Kylie Graham and the late Meeyakba Shane Pickett (1957-2010) in collaboration with Jahne Rees of Scape-ism. We documented the installation of the artwork, interviews with the artists involved and lastly final imagery at night to showcase the lighting embedded in the artwork that comes alive at night. We created two versions of the film, one focused solely on the artists while the other talks about this project being a positive outcome of the RAP (Reconciliation Action Plan) group.
